So we've got five different episodes on these stages.

0:37.8	career changes, people who might want to do a bit of a pivot. So in a moment, Helen and I will
0:43.1	chat a bit about our own experiences of career changes and a few stats and facts. And then you're
0:48.6	going to hear Helen in conversation with Jenny Blake, who is the author of a brilliant book called
0:53.2	Pivot. And I'm going to be talking to Olly Kelly and John Rother Blake, who is the author of a brilliant book called Pivot.

1:01.9	who have both been part of a program run by an organisation called Makers.
1:05.3	And Makers are experts in technology education.
1:10.6	They run this really incredible, and it does sound, I have to say, super intense apprenticeship, where people
1:12.3	from very different career backgrounds basically start from scratch and begin again, whether that's
1:18.0	in coding or developing apps or kind of web design. And they are a brilliant organisation.
1:24.1	They recruit people into the apprenticeship programmes purely based on attitude and aptitude
1:29.8	and don't look at background at all. So they have these apprenticeship programs have a brilliant
1:34.6	mix of people and actually spending time with them. And I've had a chance to meet a few different
1:39.3	people from makers. It's just always really inspiring. They're almost like ahead of the squiggly career curve.
1:45.4	You know, when I talk about squiggly careers,
1:47.3	they're so far past that because they've sort of experienced it for themselves.
1:51.0	They are just full of wisdom.
