(7:35) - Question 1- How long should I be in the gym? I have a busy schedule but I want to put on some muscle!
(17:40) - Question 2- What is the best time to workout? The morning or the night. All my friends go in the morning and say it’s better, I want to go with them but I am just not a morning person and the few times i have gone I have had to drag myself there and my training session sucked.
(23:00) - Question 3- I feel like I’m not taking enough time between sets and I’m not sure what the optimal rest time is. Any suggestions here?

| 0:00.0 | What's going on everyone? Welcome to another episode of the fit, healthy, and most of all happy |
| 0:04.8 | podcast. As always, I'm your coach and host Josh here with. |
| 0:08.3 | This co-host and co-coach KG and I'm in the house. |
| 0:12.8 | We got some coffees today drinking that Starbucks blend. We've been experimenting with |
| 0:16.5 | some different blends, but I've been finding this one gets us nice and fired up and it is |
| 0:20.1 | motivation Monday. So it is time to jump into it and we always like to start off |
| 0:24.8 | with our favorite quote of the week a quote that we find is impactful and is |
| 0:28.6 | going to be a big benefit to you in your journey and I'm going to start with mine |
| 0:31.7 | because I've actually had this one in the pipeline since last week I've been really |
| 0:34.7 | wanted to share it so here it is So this is from Tony Robbins. |
| 0:38.2 | And that is that by changing nothing, nothing changes. And it sounds so simple, almost too simple. But if we're sitting around, we've spoke a little bit last week about talking or just saying we want to do these things. We're talking about it, yada, yada, it's not going to get us us anywhere and if we're doing the same thing over and over |
| 0:54.6 | and expecting a different result that is literally the definition of insanity so instead if you say |
| 0:59.9 | i want to lose weight you have to change something in your schedule you need to either start doing |
| 1:04.5 | more in the sense of logging your food eating healthier buying better groceries and sometimes |
| 1:09.2 | about doing less so not having that extra drink, not having that dessert, not going out to dinner eight times a week, you know, all these ridiculous different things. So by changing nothing, nothing changes. It's so simple, but keep in mind, if you want change in your life, if you want to get somewhere you've never been, you have to do something that you've never done. Yeah, and I absolutely love that quote. Mine is from the same individual. And if you want to just search him up, he has some great content, Tony Robbins. He is guaranteed to get you hyped up and just get you thinking differently. So my quote this week is where focus goes, energy flows. And where energy flows, whatever you're focusing on grows. So in other words, your life is controlled |
| 1:45.1 | by what you focus on. That's why you need to focus on where you want to go, not on what you fear. And I |
| 1:50.3 | think this is just very powerful because we can spend all our time and just focus on a lot of the |
| 1:55.4 | wrong things. And I see that happen very often. And one of the things I heard years ago was focus, |
| 2:00.0 | the acronym, it actually stands for focus on one course until successful. And I think it's so often, and I'll relate this back to the fitness journey where a lot of people focus on a million different things, you know, just that new fat burner that took place, the new high-intentional interval training circuit that just was posted on Instagram, maybe a new fat diet that's come out. But I find that those who are the most successful, not just in fitness, but also in life, in career and, you know, relationships, everything like that, have everything dialed in on that main one thing. And if you do want to make a change, focus on that one course until you're successful and then move to that next thing and that's what I want to talk about |
| 2:34.6 | today yeah now into our weekly thoughts and recommendations I don't know much because I'm |
| 2:38.2 | really excited for the questions this week we have excellent excellent questions so |
| 2:41.7 | make sure you're tuned in your focus because you're gonna learn a lot from today's |
