So right up front, we'll let you know this will be a shorter episode so you know

setting the stage for the largest clash that took place in Florida during the Civil

War the Battle of Belusti which was fought on February 20, 1864.

We really haven't talked about Florida very much so far during the course of the podcast. That's because for most of the war it was a

side show to the big show, to borrow a phrase from Sam Watkins.
