| 1:05.7 | love be genuine. Let love be genuine. You know we live in a world where it's easy to be a people pleaser. |

| 1:15.9 | It's easy to kind of get our strokes personally, |
| 1:19.1 | how we feel about ourselves, by performing for others. We do things we know will make them happy. We do things |
| 1:26.0 | we know will please them and it comes back to us with approval or a sense of love we might feel from them because we've performed |
| 1:36.0 | well. But you see the Apostle Paul is telling us as believers in Christ we should not be expressing good things toward others or doing things for others out of some motive that is not genuine. |
| 1:52.0 | You see that motive I described just earlier, that's not a genuinely loving motive. |
| 1:58.0 | That's a self-serving motive. |
