Welcome to Grumpy old geeks on Jason DeFilippo and I'm Brian Schultmeister.

Are you well rested after your VK? I actually am. It was kind of it was nice.

No, I didn't even open up my laptop for four of the five days.

I noticed we didn't have any socials going on. I was like, Brian really is taking this seriously.

I really did take a vacation and it was pretty rejuvenating. That is up until

basically our last full day when Beirut exploded because the quarantine family that we are

hanging out with and went down on our break with are Lebanese and lived in Beirut.

Still had family and friends in Beirut so that day it was all CNN all day on the TV and

a bit stressful. But other than that, it was really nice to take a break.

Well, that's good. Yeah, we were going to have a show on the fifth come out, but I kind of called

to call the play on that one the night before. I'm like, yeah, you know what? We're going to skip

this one. And I turned out I'm just psychic because the guest host we had lined up Eric Hunley.

Well, he's right in the path of that hurricane that came through and he lost power for like a day.

It went out right before we were going to record. So all is all is good. Yeah, I was wondering

where my new show was as I was getting ready to drive back to Los Angeles. I was going to listen,

but I was actually proud of you because you were practicing what we preached. We've been talking

on this show about the importance of taking breaks and you knew I was going to be gone. I was kind

of in the back of my mind. Well, you know, Jason actually really likes doing the shows, whatever,

but I was going he should really take a break. Yeah, I did. I did. It was nice. I gotta say.
