Anyway, I was thinking about saving money and I was looking at my four-year-old daughter at the time and I thought she's going to get married one of these days.

And I don't want to have to borrow money, well I wouldn't borrow money, to fund the wedding.

And I don't know how much weddings cost and frankly I'm not going to do any research into it but

they're going to be something more than what we would have for normal monthly outflows.

So I thought about that and I said, man, maybe she'll get married when she's, I don't know, 24,

21-19, no.

No, at any rate, they'd be an expensive proposition.

And then I was thinking about cars.

You know, we always, I tell people, you know know pay off your cars it's it's not smart to

drive around in a car you owe a bunch of money on

uh... i don't get excited about cars anyway so it's easy for me to resist buying the brand new whatever.

But we've been saving up for a new van and we have the money for it now.

We're just waiting for the current van to keel over and die.

Vacations, you know, we're saving for a vacation, having to decide exactly what we're going.
