Summary

Way back in the 1940s a man, Bertold Wiesner, started a fertility clinic with his wife and helped in the conception 1500 children.

He had a slightly more hands on approach than most, because he used his own sperm to conceive 600 of those kids. We have Rachel Kiki on to talk about this as they are Wiesner’s grandchild!

We also go into the invention of artificial insemination and IVF

Okay, here's a question for you, Luke. Yeah. So this is from Star Major. What an awesome name. Star Major. Star Major. This is, this says, hey, side guys. Hey. Hey. So I've been listening to your podcast since it was announced, but I never had a good enough question slash story to send in. But after I listened to Luke's episode on brains, I had a thought.

1:15.0

Ah. Wow. How do the two halves of your brain work if you're ambidextrous? I'm quite weird. I am predominantly right-handed. I use my right-hand to write and stuff. But my left hand for many other things. Example, computer mouse, using scissors and cutting things, using chopsticks, etc. Anyway, that part was unnecessary. Love the podcast. Star. What do you think, Luke? I'm going to find out for you right now, Star. I wanted to put you on the spot. Well, um, I would, I don't know the answer. That's why I was going to research it.

1:45.0

I mean, if you're left-handed, the devil is obviously inside of you.

1:47.4

I think the reason why the idea that left-handed people are like in some way wrong or evil

1:52.6

is because generally like the brains are swapped sides. The left and right hemispheres are

1:59.5

swapped if you're left-handed.

2:05.4

And I think that means that because we normally would use our left brain to decode other people's left brains, but if they're swapped, our left brain is decoding a right brain,

2:10.0

and our right brain is decoding a left brain, which is not used to doing and it's not
