Kathy Giusti was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer, in 1996. She was told she couldn’t expect to live much more than three or four years. Two years later she started the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Kathy cracked the health care system, has beaten the odds, and advanced research and treatments like never before.
