First podcast of the New Year, and this one has been on my mind for several days and I said once I get a chance to really sit down and get some

thoughts down I was going to do it and I didn't get a lot of stuff written down so I'm

kind of going to go just kind of off the top but I

had about how you may be sabotaging your professional success and I've seen

lots of people do it I've had lots of people do it. I've had lots of coworkers do it. I have lots of friends, family that do it. And it's not something that you learn in school. It's not something that you know sometimes our parents don't

know you know many of us grew up with parents who had lifetime jobs my dad has

been at his job for 35 years he got his job the week I was born and so like my

birthday week or my birthday week is always his year anniversary and so my dad's

a locomotive engineer, he drives trains,

and he's been doing that for 35 years.
