I make a fair amount of TV references here on the podcast and when I'm a conversation

with people.

And I was recalling some of the TV that I grew up with and how some of the shows still

stay with me because I grew up with the characters.

So maybe this happened to you and for anyone who's watching, regardless of what generation

you are, I've tried to find television shows today that can connect with that.

I mean, there are a lot of different television shows that people get attached to.

They like the characters, they like the stories.

But there's something about the family TV sitcom that can have a lot of emotional connection

to you, especially if you were the age of the children on the show and you kind of grew

up with those children or maybe you watched your own children grow up with these children

on these sitcoms.

And so I mean, it's kind of weird, right?

Well, watch TV shows like the office or Parks and Rec and we'll notice characters change

over the run of the series.

But it's very dramatic to see, you know, you watch a family sitcom and you start with a

child actor who might be five or six years old and let's say the show has like a 10 year

run.
