In today's society we were absolutely bombarded with messages from the moment that we wake up.

Whether it's our technology, phones, computers, televisions, the busyness of work or school or just life in general.

When we stop and we get outside,

away from those distractions,

the Lord can speak to us in powerful ways.

When we go out into the wilderness all of those

distractions shut down and we have time to really get very near to him.

And so it just makes us better to be able to go back into the world.

Being in the outdoors, connecting with God, yourself, and others in creation that makes lasting

change.

Combining these two things, coming outdoors and really encountering God, but also using all these practical skills to be able to take and lead people out, help them to feel comfortable, and well taking care of out there does something. It will move

folks and it will move in their lives. Rev Wilde trains you to be a better

leader in whatever community you are in.

So ultimately it is a leadership training.

And yes, we will use practical skills of going out into the wilderness,

but that's the tool to be able to just share the love of Christ and do it well

and to lead others to an encounter with God.

So it is a leadership training at its core.
