Prospect Park. Eastern Parkway, which slides along the top of the park towards the east, and Ocean

Parkway, which emanates from the southern end of the park and unfurls all the way down to the Atlantic Ocean. Now, Eastern Parkway

did come first. In fact, it's the oldest parkway in America. Even if you don't know that much

about Brooklyn, you're probably familiar with this boulevard as it's the home of the Brooklyn

Museum and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

And it begins very grandly at Grand Army Plaza with a triumphal arch.
