And we want to start with lookup. So this is the feature that we talked about last time that is in the photos app where you can

see a bunch of information based on what's in the photo. I talked about how that's expanding

this year. We also talked about how cool it would be if that was just in the camera viewfinder,

so I could just point my phone at a plant and it would tell me it was poison oak without me touching it and finding out later.

Joel wrote in saying it's been a feature for at least two iOS versions now, and they use

it for plants and insects.

It's quite good at getting general species, but struggles a bit with the specifics.

It gives you a nice ballpark to work with, though.

It also tries to

identify cats, dogs, as well as landmarks, and artwork. And there's this webpage, this is like

one of those weird things, like it's kind of a support document, but it's also just like the

online iPhone user guide, but it walks through the different things that visual lookup can see.
