Today we're going to focus our attention on the compassionate king priest of Jesus Christ.

We're going to be reading from Hebrew 4 verses 14 to 16, but before we do, go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable position,

either seated or lying down on the ground.

If you're seated, lengthen your spine and sit up tall

in a posture that is solid but comfortable.

Maybe you open your palms on your lap to receive.

If you're lying down, you might want to find yourself on a firm but comfortable surface.

If you're flat on your back, either tent your knees together or extend your legs and drop your toes open.

Maybe palm. open.

Maybe palms come up beside you, or rest on your belly. Inhale, exhale.

Let's do that again.

Inhale.

Exhale. Exhale. Father God, we come before you now, humble and open and ready to receive whatever it is that you have to teach us just by being with you

in simplicity today.

Jesus, you are always ready and willing to love on us.

So today we choose to take a few moments to acknowledge that and receive your love.

We are here still before you in your presence.

We invite you to come be with us and within us.

Hebrews 4 verses 14 to 16 talks about Jesus as a high priest that we can relate to. He understands and has
