Hello Marvel!

You are listening to this weekend Marvel episode number 455. I'm Ryan Panago Se K. Agent M.

And I'm Lorraine Singh.

Oh boy, oh man, if you're just joining us on this week of Marvel for the first time, or maybe, for the

four hundred and fifty-fifth time, we're going to talk about what's happening this week in

Marvel, whether it's comics, movies, TV, whatever, cool stuff happening.

But before we even get to that, a much more somber note, as the time of recording,

we had just heard about the passing of Grant Amahara, who was a member of the Mythbusters

crew and he was a big Marvel fan.

He was friend to many of us at Marvel years ago, myself, new media producer Harry Go, writer Frank Tieri, we were able to go to a

taping of some MythBuster stuff in San Francisco where they were doing this cool experiment with paper armor,

like an old school Japanese way to make armor out of paper and they were doing all these tests and it was wild and it was cool and Grant was just so kind and friendly and funny and you know I think from I would see him you know once or twice a year

from then on just hanging out talking on Twitter and being pals and yeah hearing about

his passing really hit me today and that was sad and to his

friends his family all his fans we extend our condolences.

But today we are celebrating the spirit and the love that Grant shared with the world so we are going to move on and do our show as usual.

That's right.

Yeah. And there's something that is really fun, really cool.

A chance for us to talk about Ultraman, because we've been hyping the rise of Ultraman

number one, which is coming in September.

And just recently, Lor Lorraine I saw that we saw some new variant covers for the first issue right and there is some really neat stuff
