This week than 50 priests, scholars, journalists, and Catholic leaders published an Open Letter to Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò and Bishop Athanasius Schneider, thanking them for their recent statements in which they discuss some problems of the Second Vatican Council’s documents that might need a further evaluation and correction. 0:14.6	recommended books on Vatican II. We're going to talk about the 16 documents of the Second Vatican

0:27.0	So when you hear people talking and debating about Vatican 2, most people are just using the word

0:51.0	There's a big controversy right now this week with Archbishop
0:55.2	Vigano who's saying let's forget the council. Maybe we should just get rid of
0:59.7	all together. We've got another viewpoint represented by Bishop Schneider. He says well maybe we can
1:05.9	remove some documents and there's a precedent for this in the Council of
1:09.6	Constance which is an Ecumenical Council. Bishop Schneider has, I think, a very good argument here.
1:14.6	And then there's others who say,
1:15.6	let's just do a herminative of continuity.
1:17.9	This would be like Bramular.
1:19.8	This debate has broken open this week. This week a letter came out yesterday signed originally by 50 leaders, priest, scholars.
1:31.2	I was one of them thanking Vigno and Schneider for opening up this dialogue.
1:36.8	You know, the Spirit of Vatican II, it's all about dialogue people, so we should be able to dialogue
1:41.8	about this. Unfortunately, in the spirit of Vatican 2, you can dialogue Catholics,
1:47.2	popes, bishops, cardinals, they can dialogue with Hindus. They can dialogue with Mohammedans, Hindus, Buddhists, but you can't dialogue with the
