It's not that you're losing influence with your daughter.

So just try to remember, I'm competing with her friends. And sometimes the friends may appear to win,

I would just say, look, if you can't be kind and nice to your friends, then we're going to go home.

Like if you hear it going on, or if they're at your house and you hear it going on, I'd pull her aside and I'd say, hey, if you can't be kind and nice to your friend,
