Hey, what's up everybody? Thanks for tuning into another episode of Lettuce Me Talk.

Here it is December 31st, the last day news eve. Yes. I'm just sitting here sipping a

0:14.5

topa chico in my Las Vegas hotel room, getting ready to do my last stand up show of the year,

0:25.1

which would be, let me see here. I've got the amount of sets I've done this year. I'm

0:32.1

going to tell you right now. In 2018, I've done 433 sets so far. I don't like to count any

0:49.1

sets that aren't done, but if all goes well, I will be ending the year with, let's see here, 36,

0:59.1

436 if I'm alive by the time I step on stage tonight. Super stitious man. In weird ways like

1:12.0

on drugstore cowboy, no hats on the bed. Absolutely no hats on the bed. God damn it now. We got a move.

1:21.0

One time early on in my comedy career, since I've started comedy, I write down every set I do.

1:34.0

Every one of them goes right into my phone and I log them. There was this time that I marked the set before I went on,

1:42.0

like about 20 minutes before I went on, I just put down set number 31. Then I got bumped and didn't go on that night.

1:52.0

So I was like, alright, that's fucking bad luck. Never do that again. Anyway, I'm out here winding it down about to do one set here.

2:01.0

In Vegas tonight, the shows have been incredible. I will say this again. The comedy seller, Las Vegas, is one of my new favorite clubs here at the Rio Hotel.

2:19.0

It's just been a great week. I'm ready to leave though. I've done my Vegas time. I've done it. I've huffed the cigarette smoke.

2:28.0

I've seen the bad clothing. I've seen the ad hearty shirts. I've seen the bedazzled pants. I've seen the tap out shirts.

2:40.0

I'm ready. I've taken in some information that will hopefully become material later on and we will see what's happening next, my friends, as Diamond Day would say.

2:55.0

Great guest today. One of the best things about doing stand-up in my nine years of doing it is the new friends I have met over the years.

3:09.0

I just think, wow, man, that's out of everything of doing stand-up. This is probably the coolest thing is having new friends to hang out that are lunatics like yourself.

3:22.0

Like that video and blind melon with the bumblebee. I've said that before, but that's what it feels like when I show up at the comedy seller or the comedy store.

3:32.0

When I hit the patio at the store or the olive tree at the seller and I walk in and there's the other bumblebees and I'm like, all right, I think I fit in here.

3:47.0

Joe Liss is one of those new great friends. I've known him a couple years now. New York comedian actually started in Boston.

3:59.0

He's a fantastic human and one of the funniest fucking guys I see on stage right now doing it.
