Welcome back everybody to The Incomparable.

I'm your host, Jason Snell.

And in this episode, we're going to be talking about a comic book.

Now, don't run away if you're somebody who is not a heavy comic book reader.

What we try to do with

our comic book club is read something that is readily available either digitally or in paper

as a, I trade paperback or two, so a collection of multiple issues. So you don't have to go down

to your local comic store and buy like standalone issues or anything like that. They're not

hard to find. We're starting at the beginning of the story, and it is an ongoing story, although I think it will have an end before too long.

And so I think if you're somebody who doesn't read comics a lot, we will talk about this comic

a little bit and what makes it good and what we like about it before we blow the spoiler horn.

We're going to be talking about Paper Girls, which is a comic by Brian K. Vaughn,

who we've talked about many of his other comics on this podcast over the years.

Cliff Chang is the artist, and it's published by Image Comics.

There are, I think, four trade paperbacks out right now.

We read the first two.

So we will be discussing the first two.

I've read further, but it's been so long since I read further on that I reread the first two when I stopped at the delightful cliffhanger.

There are actually five.

Are there five now?

And I think they've announced that it has an end that is coming in issue 30 in July of this year.
