Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Wodcast podcast. I'm your host Eddie Eft coming at you right now from Charlotte North Carolina.

I am not touring I am not touring. I am on vacation, Christmas vacation with the family at

the in-laws where I recorded this episode. Pretty unique experience. I am doing some shows while I was here. I did a

show the other night here in Charlotte and I've got one more in Concord, which is right outside of Charlotte on the 23rd of December.

I'll put it on my site, I think, if you want to get tickets, some people have asked me about it.

It's pretty good to be back. I'm going to

be doing a lot of shows coming up in January, February, March and my album's coming

out the end of February, so big tour starting in March with that. My album's called Sweet Home

Alabama it's going to be available on iTunes and everywhere else you name it it'll

be there. But I am here doing you know at doing all the family

stuff and I had the I was lucky enough to my father-in-law is a former NFL football player

played for the Philadelphia Eagles in the late 70s or early 80s. And his best friend was over, who I had do the podcast with him.

And his friend is a guy by the name of Vince Papale you might know him from

the film Invincible which was based on his life. Mark Walberg played him in

the movie and it was a movie about

Vince was basically a lifelong football fan who had his dream come true and walked on to the Philadelphia Eagles and

tried out and while he was a high school teacher and became a player on the he was the oldest rookie in NFL history who got to play who played for

the Philadelphia Eagles. So, pretty incredible story and turned into a movie.

I mean, it's a real live rocky story.

And I've known Vince for a while,

and it was really nice to talk to him. He's very big into training, so is my father-in-law, and they're very big into nutrition and health.
