Hi everybody, just before we start the show, we have a dreadfully exciting announcement to make.

That is right, the announcement is there is a new book out from QI Towers, The Mother Firm.

Now if you're familiar with the book that we published a little while ago,

called Funny You Should Ask Again, which was a book of questions and answers all based on

the Elves appearances, we all appear on Zoe Ball's Breakfast Show on Radio 2.

That was a book stuffed with questions and answers and this new one is the souped up,

in launched Red Hot Edition, which has even more questions and answers, it is called

2-2-2 QI answers to your quite ingenious questions.

All right, you've got any examples of these so-called ingenious questions Andy?

I've got so many Anna, um, can dogs tell the time if Rome wasn't built in a day?

How long did it take? Why do songs get stuck in my head? Where is last Wednesday?

There you go, so we're not going to tell you the answers to any of those questions that have

spouted from listeners and QI Elves bizarre minds, because you're going to have to go and get the book

to find out it's pebbled with interesting facts throughout as well, it's called 2-2-2 QI answers

to your quite ingenious questions available in any good bookshop or on the Inter web, so do it now.

That's right and in fact we have another exciting announcement to make, which is that QI The Mother

Show is returning. Today, the day this episode goes out, which is Friday 11th of November,

QI is coming back to BBC 2 at 10pm, the new series is The Letter T.

That's right and of course if you don't happen to be free tonight at 10pm, there's this news thing

called iPlayer where you can catch up on it. It is based on the research that we churned out

over about five months, all of the QI Elves on everything beginning with T from trash to

teeth, tunnels to tits, to buy the birds, obviously, to toast. It was a really really fun series
