0:00.0	One thing that I found immediately after becoming monogamous again that a friend pointed out to me,
0:10.0	he was like, yeah, when you're monogamous, the idea in your brain that every person could be a potential mate kind of shuts off.
0:19.7	And I didn't even think about it like that until then.
0:24.6	But it's this idea that, especially when I was non-monogamous,
0:28.2	I would meet somebody and I'd be like, huh,
0:30.7	maybe I could date that person.

0:35.4	They're kind of hot, or they're kind of interesting.
0:37.6	Maybe I would want to explore that further.
0:40.0	And while it's exciting and fun to get the opportunity to do that, it's also time-consuming and

0:48.2	And to not be putting out that energy towards people, I do think that it creates room for that energy to be
