Hey everybody welcome to

welcome to Invested in 2024 I'm Danielle town. We're going to be looking at some themes this year.

What I want to get into is the kinds of things we need to be doing around companies we don't really understand.

We talk so much about companies we do understand and that if it's too hard, we just throw them away.

Don't look at them. But I have found in my practice that sometimes I need to know things

about stuff I don't know much about.

So that's a theme we're going to start looking at and then also

digging into certain companies in a more systematic way.

Last year, towards the end of the year, we got into a couple different companies and

we just talked through them in a really organic way and while that I think was very helpful,

I think I would like to get into them in a little bit more of an outlined way so that it's easier to trace for us than doing our own

research on our own back at home. So those are a couple ideas coming up. We've got more of course and

just wishing you guys a great 2024. We're going to have a new episode out this

week. It'll be a little bit off schedule obviously but a little

later this week definitely look for that new episode to kick off 2024 and I hope everybody listening had a great holiday, a great new year, got some rest.

If you had none of those things and got none of those things, I totally am with you and

am wishing you a little break coming up and a little bit of respite.

And of course, to look to your investing practice as a source of

steadiness as a source of remembering that we each have the power within ourselves to make our own destiny our own future,

even when it really doesn't feel like it, this is the kind of thing I tell myself and it does help. So wishing you a wonderful
