Welcome to Smartcast. I'm Kevin Smith. I haven't said that in a long time. Not the Kevin Smith artists, I've had a lot. But it's been a minute since we've done Smartcast kids.

Last one was that great Anthony Mike all episodes. So having been remiss. I want to make sure that I feed the beast a little bit and we've got a bunch of stored content that we've shared over at that Kevin Smith Club going as far back as August.

But it hasn't been here or heard by the folks in general. So I decided to roll it out on Smartcast and first up, we're going to do an episode of a podcast we started back in August when we kicked open the doors of while July actually I think when we kicked open the doors of Smartcast.

That's right about July. I'll get second we started shooting clerks three. So in July, I believe we we we we a smart castle bit. And we had a series of shows for the opening night and one of them was a show called clerks to T O O. And the idea of the show is that as you'll hear when the show proper begins after this intro is that.

You know, I've been talking about clerks my whole life, but there are a lot of other people who've been in clerks too. And I wanted to get their stories. I love shaky the people that.

You know, I've been telling clerks stories forever, but then there are people who you know have been living with clerks in their lives for nearly 30 years and they have their own weird, fun little stories. So in the show was designed to be like, let's get all.

Let's get everybody anyone has ever been in a clerks movie and stuff. So this first episode. You're about to hear was us launching the show.

And it was recorded at smart castle. Let me see. Let me see when that all was man. I have to go digging back in my photos.

So let's go back to June. I'm still in.

California. And then here's us flying on July 5th. And it looks like.

I'm working on the grand opening. Yeah, because there's me and Jay doing Jane, sound about good old. There's me and Jen doing plus one. There's me and Harley doing vegan abattoir. There's me Ernie Brian Johnson and Jay doing highlands.

And then there is me. Brie. Jay Ernie Scotchiafo looking like we did that show. So boy boy folks. Good fucking times going back to July.

So this week we're going to give you this episode uncut and it's long.

But next week we'll break up clerks to episode two into two parts.

Because it got to even chunkier. And then we'll give you some more. He's podcast that you can't have and heard yet. And mind as well roll him out here. And then sooner or later.

Moser is going to come back. He's off doing his thing and whatnot. But he's supposed to come over and watch the movie soon. At which case I'm going to be like, sit the fuck down. Say funny shit.
