Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader, Spencer Henry. First off, we got to talk about something horrific that happened

this afternoon. I'm an avid coffee drinker. I drink one coffee in the morning every morning before I get ready for the day and then I go and get a second coffee during the later afternoon for whatever I have to do the rest of the day.

I'm drinking my coffee. It was a nice coffee, but I had been out for a while and I feel something when I'm drinking it hit my lip.

I was like, well, this is weird because there shouldn't be ice alive in it anymore because it's so fucking hot outside.

And sure enough, it is a dead fly, which immediately sends me into a panic because I'm like, did I drink one of its legs on accident? It was dead though.

So I don't think it was dead on impact. I think this fly had been dead for quite some time, but it immediately sent me back to when I was 20 and I was working at a restaurant in the Bay Area.

We used to store the ice for the restaurant outside. I didn't do anything. I was like a host there. I basically just talked shit to people the whole time.

And I would go, like, I would make myself drinks behind the bar. And so I was like getting a diet coke or something.

And I was drinking it and through the straw something crawls into my mouth and it's a fucking live pincher bug.

And so, race is the question, would you rather have a dead fly in your mouth or a live pincher bug? I think that, I don't know.

I would probably go with the fly here. So I'm going to call it not my worst day. And I'm going to tell you guys what's coming up.

So one, hello, we have merch coming. It's coming back better than ever. And I'm so excited because we haven't done merch since, I don't know, April. And it's going to be so good.

I can't tell you guys what it is yet, but I had final calls with everyone this week. So I think they're going to send the designs to me today or tomorrow. And I'll approve them.

And then we can start. And it is going to be by pre-order this time. But things that you will be able to order immediately, which should be restocked by the end of this week, if you're hearing this at the beginning of this week, is one pins.

And those will all be restocked. They should be arriving today or tomorrow. And then also for the first time ever bumper stickers, which I am stoked on because a lot of you have been asked for bumper stickers for a really long time.

I want a bumper sticker. And that's all fucking put these stickers on our car and let the people know we are also coming up on our one year anniversary. I think it's this week, which is wild to think about.

We only did I think a few episodes in the end of 2018 with the beginning of this year is when things started coming out. And now we've just grown so much and it is absolutely fucking absurd. You guys, I don't mean this in a braggie way at all. But like last week, we did, I think eight days straight of being charted on iTunes top 100.

And some of those we were like number 19, like I was beating Dr. Phil for a few days. Like if you're listening to this Dr. Phil, I just want you to know that there was a moment of time where I was I was beating you on the chart. And he's not listening to this, but that's fine.

But it isn't just crazy to think about like me just sitting here like my dumbass in my room. I'm just like, hey, just talking just talking into a microphone that I got the best, but it's really cool. So thank you guys so much. I know I got a lot of new listeners coming in from the videos that I've been doing with Mikey. And if you're not subscribed to her, she's one of my good friends. So you need to go on over to YouTube now and subscribe to her channel, Glam and Gore because we have a lot of cool videos coming out throughout October for the spooky season. And I've seen previews.

And it is a good time. I think you guys will like it a lot. So what's up to the zombies that are here. And I do have a fun one year episode planned, but it can't come out this week. I don't think so.
