are taking care of a patient who is on ferrosamide or Lasix. So what is Lasix or ferrosamide? It is a loop diuretic, as I mentioned. This means that

it works on the loop of Henley in the renal system, and it basically pulls off a ton of fluid. And you're

going to be seeing ferrosomide use a lot in your patients who have heart failure and

pulmonary edema.
