MacPower users, episode 449, Maca West Mojave. Hello everyone this is David Sparks along with my pal Katie

how are you today Katie? I'm well David how are you? Great we've got a new

operating system for the Mac and today we're going to focus on that talking about what's new, what's changed, what we'd like to see get better.

There's actually quite a bit to cover with the Mac.

I'm assuming as a native Californian that that is the proper pronunciation is Mojave.

Yeah, that's how I learned. I used to go camping in the Mojave Desert when I was a kid.

That's how we were always told the name. I mean I guess I think it's an Indian name, Native American name and I think that's how it was originally pronounced but you know growing up in California we always

called it the Mojave Desert so it's it's really hot there I mean it's funny because

people who come to California I always tell them the one thing you do is you go to Yosemite.

It's just the most beautiful thing ever, but I've never really recommended anybody go to

the Mojave Desert, but you know, to each his own.

Apparently apples people did.

Yeah, all right.

The we have like we have a lot to talk about with Maco-S Mojave.

A few announcements. First, as always we have you have a

few announcements you're very busy now these days well you know I'm really trying

to make this work you know I I really like making this stuff. I do need to make some

income off of it if I'm not going to, you know, I'm turning out legal work to do

this stuff. So I just want to thank everybody for the series shortcuts.
