Healthy Skin as You Age
with Dr. Shadi Kourosh
---------------------------
“You look old, Dad,” my nine year old told me. He was teasing me, of course, but it’s true. I have less hair, more wrinkles, and thinner skin than I did when he was born. I didn’t start wearing sunscreen until the age of 35, and I certainly regret it.
Father time is cruel, and he’s coming for all of us.
While we all have more meaningful things to worry about than our aging skin, I still do worry that I’ll be raisin-faced in my 70s. So let’s talk about it. This week, I’ll introduce you to Havard professor and dermatologist, Dr. Shadi Kourosh, who will share with us her best tips for slowing down time.
Listen & Learn:
Why Vitamin A is the secret ingredient in many oral and topical skincare creams
What is clinically proven and what is just hype
How to choose your dermatologist carefully
Sun damage dangers
The importance of food and lifestyle for skincare
