The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 446 of real life ghost stories

and I have three spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 31st of January

2024 and story number one comes from Mona. I wrote to you some time ago, so long that I

should probably do a recap before adding to it. My story began in 2009 when I studied in the UK as a

study abroad student from the US. The first friend I made at my London University was more or less

my ambassador to life in the UK. He was studying

film, wanted to be a DOP, and lived in South Wales. I was studying as a journalism student with an

interest in producing documentaries. We were very close in a way that I had never felt before. It was as if we had always known each other, as if we had independently arrived at the same place as people without each other's influence, and continued to grow together.

We had the same camera eye, noticing the same cinematic shots in our everyday life.

We listened to the same music and both took to DJing.

We had the same dark, dry humour and yet the same sensitivities. We were knowledgeable about the

same topics, from politics to quantum physics, from consciousness to synchronicities. We had the same

values, the same passions, symmetrical in mind.

But long story short, we were young and in our 20s and unable to muster the question of what we were to each other.

And as life kept pulling us in different directions, we weren't able to give each other the attention that we deserved.

We also struggled with giving ourselves the attention we deserved and dealt with depression

in very different ways. Ultimately, whatever could have been just ended without closure and it was

very painful, but we both moved on. My birthday, however, was a reminder of his. It followed right

after mine and then followed March the 14th,

Pye Day. And the philosophical, physics-based conversations we had on top of a mountain near his

home, overlooking the graveyard below, would trickle into mind. So with the discussion of
