We do a lot of talking on the podcast about figuring out how thick an area is going to be or what

0:05.1

you can expect going into a certain area based on when it was cut. Well, I got just the tool for

0:09.8

you to figure that out. Onex actually has a timber cuts layer and it'll show you on a national

0:14.2

forest, the exact area that was cut and what year it was cut. So maybe you've been hunting a

0:18.8

pine thicket and you're like, how old is this pine thicket? You could pull it up on Onex

0:22.3

and look and see, hey, this was cut in 2017. This was cut in 2020. Now suddenly you have a gauge

0:28.4

for just saying, okay, okay, this is a three year old cut. So this is how thick a three year old

0:33.2

cut is in my area. Now you're going to be able to use that to kind of start building patterns

0:37.2

and stuff. It's a really awesome tool. It's under the tree crops and cover layer where you're going

0:41.6

to also find stuff like wetlands, agron producing oaks, thermal deer cover, deciduous versus

0:46.8

coniferous and a host to other things. So go check them out. If you want to get 20% off of your

1:25.3

feels like you could do some work in it. Super warm. I know I'm going to be wearing on a lot of

1:29.3

rabbit hunts coming up in the next month or two. And then another thing you need to look at is

1:32.8

their cloud shaker rain jacket. It's a great rain jacket and an affordable cost. Super lightweight,

1:38.7
