Hello. Hello and welcome to me in the episode number 445 of real live ghost stories.

And I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 27th of January 2025.

And story number one comes from Amy.

I wrote in a little while ago about my husband who had a stroke and talked of a creature that ran around in the night.

I'm pleased to say that he has since come out of hospital and has recovered more than any of the doctors thought he would.

Before he came home though, he went to a specialist brain injury unit that was on the site of an old TB sanatorium and later a facility used by American soldiers in World War II.

Since then it was a regular hospital until it shut in 2014 under the agreement that there would always be some sort of medical facility there.

Thankfully for us and many others, it is now a brain injury rehab unit.

Whilst Matt was there, he told me he always felt like I was in the room, just silently watching him, even though I wasn't.

The nurses would come in and ask him who he was talking to and he would say, Amy, she sat over there, when I was most definitely not sat over there. He also set me the creepiest voice note I have ever heard. Unfortunately, I didn't keep it, but I have recreated it and attached it to this email

It didn't take me long to find the story of Anne.

In the 1950s, Anne was struck down with a mysterious flu-like illness and fell into a coma.

She was taken to French A hospital, where staff would find her furniture would move,

property would go missing, and elderly patients would complain of a woman watching over them.

These patients would die just a few days later.

It was later discovered that despite being comatose, it was Anne wandering unresponsive through the

hospital at night. This is just a brief summary of Anne, but her full story is here if you'd like to
