we're really digging deep for this one.

It's the Jerry Warren episode.

Finally.

Are we digging deep or are we following our passions, Will? Oh, I have never been more enthusiastic about a subject than this one.

So if people don't know who Jerry Warren is, he... And in all hope, ye who enter here. He's probably

known by like Monster Kid, so that's, you know, people who grew up with horror films, oftentimes playing on television in the 50s and 60s as one of the filmmakers that if you

saw as films, which always have very salacious and appealing titles, never delivered on the

promise of their like marketing. He is basically commonly understood to be one of the worst

directors of all time. He has no fans. He has no fans. And, you know, there are lots of people like, well, obviously Edward, lots of people who, Doris Wishman, people who get called the worst director of all time, who lots of people say, well, they're not actually the worst director. If you approach it from this angle, there's a lot of passion, et cetera, et cetera. But this guy, no one has fans. No. And I think we were really triggered to do this episode because I observed that nobody has written a book about him. That's right. Everybody else has a book. Has a book. Ray Dennis Steckler has a book. Multiple books. Yeah.

But no one, there's no, Larry Buchanan has multiple books about himself. That's right. And he's the one guy, because Jerry Warren is, is a name. If you, if you are a fan of 50s monster movies, you know who his name is, probably. And a lot of his films did appear on mystery science theaters through South, the bulk of them, right? Well, there was the wild world of Batwoman. Mm-hmm.
