Summary

I’m wondering how many of you, like me, saw the beginning of this pandemic as similar to a series of snow days or a long weekend? Perhaps you let typical habits and routines go in order to hunker down with late-night TV binging, extra treats, lotsa wine, little movement, and a bit of disregard for what really fuels your body. Perhaps as you got deeper into this weird and unsettling season of life, you had less and less time to yourself. You stopped doing restorative activities that allowed you to have moments to yourself to think and breath - probably because there was no way to actually be alone.  We are now months into this season of life and many of us are suffering because we have let go of the habits that truly serve us: fueling our bodies well, moving our bodies to process stress, and resting/restoring when we need time and space to ourselves.  Listen in to hear how you can get your body back into a groove that supports the energy you want to carry each day - and gifts you the space you need to keep your head above water.  Links mentioned: Get my free 15 Minute Manifest Morning Routine Learn more about your ad choices. Hello, Mamas. Happy Monday. I hope you're doing well. I will tell you I'm recording this on a hard day in the middle of a hard week. I've known the last two weeks actually would be really just big, heavy weeks in terms of my responsibilities and the things that I needed to get done. And I knew that I was going to feel spread thin because I'm used to being able to

1:15.2

kind of buffer big weeks with, you know, having a house to myself and having a child in school

1:20.3

and all those kinds of things.

1:21.2

And that, I knew that wouldn't be the case right now.

1:22.9

And so we just finished up the Shameless Mom Con Collective, which was, oh my gosh, so, so amazing and so much

1:30.5

fun and just such a beautiful experience. And I'll very likely do a recap of that, probably on next

1:37.0

week's episode. But we finished that up and that was all of last week. And so that was an amazing,

1:42.2

amazing week, but it also required a ton of my

1:44.2

attention. I will say, someone asked me halfway through the week. So last week, not only did I have,

1:49.3

I had everything for Shameless MomCon, but then, so which included, you know, multiple days of

speakers. I also had my Tenacious Mama's final retreat for my first year tenacious mamas. So shout out to all my first year tenacious mamas. You are amazing. I adore you. I love you. I miss you already. And so that was at the end of the
