Maureen O'Connell, retired Special Agent with the FBI, 25 years in Los Angeles,

and I own my own security firm.

Well, thank you for joining us on Best Case, Worst Case, and I am so looking forward to us

being co-hosts from now on on Best Case worst case because francy has to had moved on to

bigger and better things in Washington and and basically we are fortunate to have you uh to step in

and and be the uh point counterpoint for uh for me on issues that we discuss.

Sometimes we're going to be in the same area.

Sometimes we're going to be in different areas on it.

But the point is different perspectives are important.

And we will analyze cases from our professional backgrounds.

Can you tell our listeners a little bit about your professional background?

You just mentioned 25 years in the Los Angeles Division or the FBI.

Yep.

So I was in what's known as the Criminal Division, or the Criminal Division or the Crim Division

for 25 years, and I worked a little bit of white collar

but mainly gangs and narcotics. I was on task forces. I did a lot of surveillance, trash covers.

I was also on the ERT team for 20 years. That's our evidence response team as you and I were both on that team. And just did all

kinds of really cool stuff. I did as at the tail end of my career, I did some hazmat stuff and
