Hello and welcome to our pilot episode of a new program sponsored by Mormon Stories podcast,

called Mormon News Review.

I'm your host for today, John Delin.

And today we'll be covering several interesting news stories within Mormonism.

And we hope for this to be at least a monthly feature of Mormon Stories, but potentially

a weekly feature that could spin off into its own podcast, again, called the Mormon News

Review.

We are going to be modeled after a podcast that I use to listen to quite a bit called left-righten

Center, which is a political podcast, but it features people from various places in the

political spectrum, so obviously liberals, moderates, and conservatives.

And I kind of wanted to apply that to a discussion of Mormon News.

So we haven't fully defined what it means to be left right in Center on this program

Earth and Mormonism, and there are various ways to interpret that.

But today, without fully describing what it means to be left right in Center, we have

on the right Dr. Ralph Hancock, who is the president of the John Adams Center for the

study of faith, philosophy, and public affairs.

He is also a professor at a political science professor at BYU, and he is actually one of

my professors when I was at BYU a couple years ago.
