π TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Romans 8:31-33
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[i] against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.

| 0:00.0 | Good morning, my friends. Let's start out today's morning mindset time together with another question for you to consider. |
| 0:10.0 | How often or how powerfully do you feel a sense of condemnation? |
| 0:20.0 | Just let that question resonate and reverberate in your mind for a moment and be honest in |
| 0:26.2 | your answer. There's no guilt or blame here to go around. I just want you to put yourself |
| 0:32.2 | in a place where you can consider that issue because that's the |
| 0:36.2 | exact issue we're going to be looking at in the scripture today. How often or how intensely do you feel a sense of condemnation? |
| 0:48.0 | Now maybe we should just think for a moment about what it means to feel condemnation. |
| 0:54.0 | To be condemned is to be hopeless, it's to be accused in a way that makes you feel and believe you as a person have no hope you are worthless you |
| 1:06.8 | are accused you are guilty you are to blame and certainly there are things we do in life that we bear |
| 1:16.1 | responsibility for aren't there there are sins we commit there are things we |
| 1:21.2 | should do that we don't and we bear responsibility for those things. |
| 1:27.1 | But the great news of the Christian message is that if we place our faith in Jesus Christ, we are doing more than a religious |
| 1:35.8 | action. We are doing more than some sort of ritual. What we are doing is |
| 1:41.4 | we are receiving a gift from the king of the universe and that gift is |
| 1:47.8 | absolution. That's kind of an old-fashioned word for it. We're being absolved of our guilt. We're being forgiven, cleansed, |
| 1:57.8 | made right in the eyes of the King of the Universe. That's what Christianity teaches and it all happens because Jesus Christ |
| 2:06.8 | died on the cross and was risen from the grave or rose for the grave. |
| 2:11.3 | However you would say that. Jesus victory over sin and |
| 2:16.0 | death and hell is now applied to us and the reason I ask you about condemnation is because I know it is a frequent |
| 2:25.6 | feeling for many people. We just walk around with this cloud of guilt over us, |
| 2:32.1 | this sense inside that there's something about us |
| 2:36.1 | that's not right. And it breaks my heart to think that we walk around letting that feeling |
