have. But it's so important now because there's so many of the business models that

dropped up journalism in the past have just disappeared. So a lot of journalism is in a lot of trouble and I don't know

whether people appreciate for instance local journalism which I'm very much

involved in is absolutely in the shit you know as a model because what's happened is

Facebook and Google have come along and they've completely changed the way people

advertise. The internet has come along and people have completely changed the way they read newspapers

and idiots us as an industry gave them it free from day one on the internet and now of course everybody thinks that's just you know it's

but if we haven't given it away for free do you know what would have read it

but do you not think that we would have been overtaken even quicker
