feeling better David? Yes I am, thank you. I don't sound entirely better, but I'm feeling a lot better.

Getting over a little bit of a cold.

This isn't the Macworld sludge, is it?

No, you know, I didn't get sick after Macworld this year.

I managed to survive, but here I am, what, three weeks later and I came down with something but I'll live. Yeah I was

fortunate as well I didn't come down with anything so you know I'll let you keep your

germs to yourself. Yeah. Stand safely on my side of the mic.

But getting back from Macworld and getting back into the swing of things at work has always

been a little chaotic, but we thought maybe we'd help a little bit with a topic this time on taking notes, which is something that I've struggled with both kind of in my personal and professional life a little bit.

Just, you know, technology is a help and a hindrance

sometimes in this area.

Yes, note taking on the computer, okay, so we all had our three ring binders and we were ready to go, all right? Or peaches? You know, remember peaches or am I dating myself? No, you're dating yourself. Okay, well, peachy folders were really cool. But then we got computers and we wanted to make

sure that we could take notes on those so what do we do you know we you know we got a word

processor or something we started writing stuff down when I When I was going to law school in the early 90s and a laptop

were starting to show up and people were taking notes, I used one of the

coolest note-taking devices ever known and I don't think it's been replaced today.

It was a tandy.

I think it was called a radio shock at that point, W.P. 102 I think or 100.

And it was basically a little plastic enclosure with a keyboard and an 8 line

LCD display with terrible resolution. How big was that physically? It was

about the footprint of a 13 inch MacBook and it was about I think an injured
