Hootz and... Hey everyone welcome back to the hamel cast I'm Jillian and today I'm

wrapping up my episodes with Megan Fattis.

Megan was a swing with the Chicago and touring companies of Hamilton for four years

and in her first two episodes she opened up about her experience in the

entertainment industry as a whole, especially as a woman.

From navigating internalized standards and

pressures to realizing that no is a complete sentence and finally taking the

steps to delete all those stupid exclamation points and emails. And

while there's no short or easy answer to all the issues she discussed

Megan maintains that talking about mental health in the theater world is a very

important step towards making those very necessary changes. So after spending

four wonderful and fulfilling years with Hamilton, Megan made the careful decision to leave the show and focus on being home to reset, regroup, and branch out creatively.

She loved being with the show, but eventually it was time to take everything she learned from Hamilton and apply it to different art forms and different ventures.

So for example, Megan has fallen in love with working with the new generation of artists by way of dance competition judging.

You might have seen one of our viral videos on Tik-Toc and last

week she broke down the whole situation. I actually found it really inspiring because

people like Megan are giving me hope. I think we're finally getting the new

wave of teachers that these kids deserve. I mean it's about time. Okay so if you're all
