| 1:09.9 | I did my undergrad and master's work down at the University of Michigan in molecular cell |

| 1:15.5 | And then I did a PhD in biomedical engineering at University of Toronto and focused on stem |

| 1:25.0 | And you used to play professional baseball and then had an injury at one point, right? |
| 1:29.7 | I did. I was actually going to head off to medical school after I finished my master's. |

| 1:41.7 | decision because they wouldn't let me do both. I couldn't go start my MD while playing, but they would let me do a PhD. |

| 1:52.6 | So I ended up doing a PhD while I was playing professionally, played in the minor leagues with the Blue Jays for a number of years and then the Philadelphia Phillies. |
