I'm going to Welcome to the Huntback Country Podcast. This is episode number 438.

And today we're kicking off somewhat of a new series.

These episodes may not release sequentially,

but over the next couple of months,

I wanted to speak with as many of the Western states

as possible and speak with their game and fish departments directly.

Now we're not going to hit every state.

We did focus on the states that provide both resident and reasonable non-resident hunting opportunities.

And this obviously are the more popular states across our broad audience.

Not all states are willing to participate. We've been trying to schedule some states that are

unresponsive or somewhat unwilling to join us, but a huge thank you to the states who are willing

to do this. And there's quite a few to come today in this first episode.

We're speaking with Wyoming.

For each of these episodes I had some kind of common questions or topics to talk about,

specifically around the application process,

some clarifications on things like their point systems and more.

And then we also asked you guys, the audience, to submit your questions for each state specifically.

So a good portion of these conversations may look different for, say, today's show with Wyoming Wyoming compared to a future show for Arizona or New

Mexico or Idaho because again we are tailoring the questions to the

specific audience questions that you had for that state in particular.
