On the creative journey it's easy to get lost but don't worry you'll lift off

sometimes you just need a creative pep talk.

One question that plagues me often is whether I'm a natural or not

creatively. My dad jokingly says this phrase a lot in conversation like

when he's hanging out with the grandkids, his grandkids, my kids or my

brothers kids, and they're just really being themselves. I might be like, oh man, my nephew is so funny and he'll be like,

yeah, he's a natural. And it's a funny comment in everyday life but as a creator

This is an idea and a mindset that has ate away at me at different times in my creative journey.

Like am I a natural illustrator or not?

Am I a natural writer?

Am I naturally a good storyteller?

Or am I naturally funny or whatever it is. This is a question. This is a type of mindset, a fixed mindset that has really thrown me off course a bunch of times. Today on the show we have Mira Lee Patel

and I feel like kind of a kindred creator with meera

because she's an illustrator that is more comfortable with words. In this episode we explore
