Supermarket sweep is airing a very special episode.

The teams are Steed and Blackbeard from our flag mean staff,

Nick and Schmidt from New Girl,

and Liz and Dud from Lodge 49.

What is each team's play style, and which pair wins?

Okay, all right. I've got this all game down.

Great.

Nick and Schmidt are beautiful idiots, who implode so spectacularly that it nearly derails

the game for everybody else.

Schmidt's hypercompetitiveness prompts him to adopt a threatening tone for the other contestants and the host.

And Nick completely freezes whenever asked a question, remembering each answer just after the buzzer goes off and the pressure lifts.

This further infuriate Schmidt and they end up getting into a slap fight in the frozen food aisle.

Steed and Blackbeard from our flag means death fare a little better.

They're very excited to be there.

Obviously, they vibe with each other in a way that charms the viewer and the host.

But they turn out to be very bad at the actual game.

As a member of the Landed Gentry and an 18th century man,

Steed has never done any of his own grocery shopping.

And as one of history's most notorious pirates, Blackbeard has stolen everything and doesn't

know what anything costs.
