One great rock show can change the world.

Guitarist Dwayne Alman had an audacious vision for the Alman Brothers band,

not just two drummers, but two lead guitarists.

And it's a vision that lives on 45 years later.

Greg, I heard you sat in once with them, is that right?

Yeah, they were doing rehearsals for a tour, one of their many reunions, and at the time the idea

was I'm going to interview the members of the band.

And I said, okay, we'll get the band and I said okay we'll get

them in the room together and we'll do the interview. I said well wait a minute you're

going to have to do them separately because they're still not getting along that well

especially Greg Alman and Dickie Bats. You can have to interview them separately.

They're not really speaking to one another right now, so it didn't bode well for that

particular reunion.
