| 0:16.6 | This is Psalm chapter 18 and we are once again pulling some of the gold nuggets out of David's writings here. |
| 0:24.0 | And I want us to look at Psalm 18 verse 30. |
| 0:27.0 | It says, this God, his way is perfect. |
| 0:32.0 | The word of the Lord proves true. His way is perfect. |
| 0:33.0 | The word of the Lord proves true. |
| 0:35.6 | He is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. |
| 0:40.9 | And there are some very extreme statements there. |
| 0:45.2 | This God, our God, his way is perfect. |
| 0:49.8 | If we stop and consider what that means for everyday living, what that means for the way that we |
| 0:54.6 | think about the circumstances of life, we have to quickly acknowledge that we have no room for complaint about how God is doing things in our lives. |
| 1:08.0 | I mean I understand life can be hard I understand we sometimes feel the need to express our sorrow and |
| 1:15.8 | our pain and our struggle with others. That's all fine. There's nothing wrong |
| 1:21.0 | with that. You hear the Psalms do that all the time. |
| 1:24.0 | Yet, here David, one of those who complains in the Psalms, |
| 1:30.0 | says that God's ways are perfect. |
| 1:35.0 | So what does this say to us? |
| 1:38.0 | It tells us that our God makes no mistakes. |
| 1:42.0 | So whatever circumstance you're facing right now or that you have |
| 1:45.3 | faced, that is extremely difficult and hard and you're confused and you don't know |
| 1:50.4 | where this is all going. |
| 1:53.8 | Be assured. |
