Summary

Today we visit one of the married couples who happen to be two of our JimCockrumCoaching.com coaches. They've just finished their first full year with the husband Adam being home after leaving his IT career behind. They work their Amazon Replens business (as taught in the ProvenAmazonCourse.com course) and even employ a couple of their homeschooled kids and their homeschooled friends. They are about 90% Amazon and 10% Walmart and source most of their replens by ordering online (OA or online arbitrage). They've rented and warehouse and run their 1.3million+ operation at about a 15% net margin. They are also in the process of launching branded bundles (see the link in the show notes for details). We spend time discussion how they cut their shipping fees in half with "LTL", the growth strategies they are using, the humble beginnings of their story, how their family has changed with a home based business and many other great topics.

0:44.8	world, you can sell on Amazon.com if you didn't know that. You can buy products in the United States
0:51.1	and sell them in the United States. But this is just the latest
0:55.0	example of a couple great students who've turned into coaches, a couple whose marriage is stronger,
1:01.5	their family is stronger, they get to hang out together more. They're like I mentioned,
1:06.4	homeschooling, so their schedule is very flexible. They've built something truly special.
1:10.4	And today's just a
1:11.0	very candid conversation. We talk through many subjects, how they find their inventory, how they're
1:17.3	processing their inventory, how they started saving about 25 cents a pound on shipping their products
1:23.9	into Amazon. So a pretty cool strategy session we talk about there. You
1:28.0	don't have to be big and fancy to do some of the things they're doing. You can do it from
1:31.1	home. We talk about how to use pallets basically to send in a bunch of 300 pounds or so at
1:36.8	a time worth of inventory. So we go through detail on that. We talk about Walmart quite a bit
1:42.8	today. These are a couple of our coaches on our team who
1:45.5	understand Walmart very well. They're actually improving their skill set there. So if you're looking
