host, Jason Snell and in this episode we are going to be doing something. So I had this idea.

I had a great idea, which is we should do a draft of board games. And everybody

thought that was also a great idea and that we already had done it in episode 184. And so, instead,

I'm going to just say, I think it would be great if we drafted more board games. People love

board games. In the holiday season, maybe you gather with

your family, you play board games, you give somebody a gift of a board game, and then the whole

family plays it. There's lots of different opportunities here for things to tie into the season,

and also it's fun to talk about games. Now, I want to, before I introduce my panelists, I'm going to

also say, how do we define a board game? I'm going to say it's a tabletop-ish

game, not a role-playing game, not, you know, not like a game you play with a generic deck of

cards. That's not going to be allowed. You can't pick hearts. That's not going to be allowed.

But I will provide some latitude to the players if they want to do things that are not necessarily cardboard board laid down in little tokens and things like that. That's fine. That's
