Now, we did do the Marx Brothers many moons ago. It was what, episode three, four? Yes, we did put them together with Wheeler and Woosley the way it was meant to be.

Because we thought that would be funny. We would compare Duck Soup with Wheeler and Woolsey's diplomatics. And we are going to get back to Wheeler and Woolsey too. We absolutely will. Because it's a sin to waste the Marks Brothers and especially Wheeler and Woolsey on one like Port Montau episode. So we're going to be talking about all those classic Marx Brothers films this weekend.

this is the thing we do every time and i'm taking the blame now because this was my idea.

We take perfectly good topics and we pick the worst parts of them. Yes. We didn't pick the worst parts. Because we think, you're right, we could have picked worse. But we think, oh, we're going to be creative. We're going to come at it from a unique angle. Now, a little background here. what led us to this is

addicted to the Marx Brothers. You're a sick man. The Marks Brothers Council podcast. It's one of my

favorite podcasts. If you're the kind of person who's like, I want an hour long deep dive

into Chico Marx's daughter's memoir. This is the podcast for you. And so I've been listening to it relentlessly. And I'm an old Marx Brothers fan from way back. I think I said it on the previous Marks Brothers episode. The Marks Brothers were not my guys. I will say these movies were probably the first Marks Brothers films I saw. Because they came out on DVD. Because they came out on DVD in a box set. Yeah. And I had that too.

And people forget, I feel like we say this all the time. But back as recently as 20 years ago, you couldn't just watch every movie by somebody. No. Like I saw Duck Soup when I was like six. I saw a couple others that were at the video store. And then certain of the ones like a day at the races, I didn't see until that box set came out.

I didn't see at the circus go west. I didn't see any of that till that box that came out. I had thought about those movies and wanted to see those movies forever until that box that came out. And I'd heard they were bad. So I had not heard they were bad. So you can imagine me watching these things going like,

huh, nothing seems off in these movies. The AFI, top hundred laughs, said that this should be

some of the best movies ever, right? Right. What's going on here? Right. So on the Marks Brothers
