| 0:00.0 | Good morning my friends. It's time for the morning mindset once again. You know, one of the things that astounds me, that befuddles me, that just gives me reason to pause every time I think about it is that even behind the |
| 0:16.9 | reasons of why God does things there are other reasons. God is so deep, his thoughts are beyond searching |
| 0:27.8 | out and yet graciously in the scriptures, he reveals to us many of the reasons that he does things, and behind those |
| 0:36.3 | reasons are yet more reasons. That's what we find here in Romans Chapter 8 |
| 0:42.1 | verse number 29. The apostle Paul has been telling us that |

| 1:34.0 | And it's a title that God gives to him |
| 1:38.0 | as the first born among his sons, you see. |
| 1:42.0 | Now Christ was already his son. |
| 1:44.8 | He was already part of the Trinity from eternity past. |
| 1:49.5 | But God begins calling him the first born to indicate that there are others who will be born |
| 1:57.7 | into God's family and that's you and me as we are born again. You see we have a second birth. And Jesus is the elder brother. That's the |
| 2:08.0 | imagery that the Apostle Paul's laying out here. God conforms us to Jesus' image so that Jesus will be the firstborn among many brothers, |
