Hi there. You're listening to the lazy genius podcast. I'm Kendra Adachi. This podcast is not about

0:07.1

hacking the system to find more time or hacking your energy to get more done. Hustling to be the best

0:13.0

or to make the most out of every opportunity is exhausting and unsustainable. So here we do things

0:19.6

differently. On this podcast, we value contentment,

0:23.1

compassion, and living in our season. We favor small steps over big systems. Here, we are lazy

0:29.5

geniuses, being a genius about the things that matter and lazy about the things that don't.

0:34.9

And I'm so glad you're here. Today is episode 433 when your to do list

0:40.2

feels too long. First, I'm going to give you five questions to ask to help you get your to do

0:46.3

list in a place that feels way more doable. It's a really simple process you can follow that takes

0:52.5

less than five minutes, and I promise

0:54.6

it'll help.

0:55.4

Then I'll share what my own personal to-do list routine looks like, not so you can follow

1:01.3

it, but so you can just hear how someone else approaches how they get their tasks done.

1:06.9

As we know, hearing ideas from other people, it helps us find our own ideas. Then for a little

1:12.3

extra something, I'm going to share our current meal matrix for this busy fall season. A meal

1:17.8

matrix is a meal planning scaffolding, basically, that it helps limit decision fatigue while still

1:24.3

leaving room for a variety and flexibility. And we have one right now that's working really well for our current season of life.

1:31.2

And like the to-do list routine, it might spark an idea of how to approach your own meals by hearing mine.

1:37.3

We'll, as always, share the lazy genius of the week.

1:39.7

And then we'll end with a mini pep talk for when you forget to do something you needed to do.

1:45.1

Because no matter how short you can make your to-do list or how smooth your to-do list

1:50.2

routine might be, you're still going to forget stuff.
